OUT STANDING PITCHERS FOR HCH

James Webb won 33 games 9th /12 grade school year. Pitch for Gordon College Barnesville, Ga. During James Webb senior he pitched two ball game a week and was the Relief pitcher on Saturday if needed for Trion Moss. and he was needed during the late inning of a number of weekend games. One game he took over in Dooly County shut them down and I ice and rub his arm for two and half hour bus trip back to Sparta, GA. Ha, Ha I bet you remember that!

Brandon Griffin Won 27 games 10/12 grade school year struck out 412 batters during his three years of pitching and won a lot of 2 to one ball game in which he score the two runs which won those game . Many of the 27 game he won he struck out 13 to 14 men per game. Pitch for Albany State College Albany, GA four years. Top pitcher on their squad each of these years.

Walter Monroe won 28 games 9th thought the12 grade school year

James Wilson won 26 games 9th thought the 12 grade school year. Pitch for Lemoyne – Owens College Memphis, Tennessee

Marcus Ingram pitched two no hitters won 16 games 10th thought the 12 grade. Bernard Chapman pitched two no hitters won 20 games 10th thought the12 grade using a moving fast ball and a hammer curve ball that made many batters legs buckle! Attended Savannah State College Glen Ingram pitched a no hitter against our arch relay Harlem High won 16 ball games Pitch for Alabama State College. Greg Warren won 21 ball games 9th thought the 12 grade school year. Attended Savannah State College Gilbert Lyons won 25 ball games 9th thought the 12 grade school year/ pitch for Voorhees College for four years. Lerroy Smith won 23 ball games 9th thought the 12 grade school year / pitch for Voorhees College for four years. Philip Hossely won 16 ball games 9th thought the12 grade school year Randy Dixon won 17 ball games 10th thought the12 grade school year. Edward Blassingame won 19 ball game 9th thought the 12 grade school year. Big game pitchers who was outstanding ball players at other position on the team Roy Lee Williams shut down Aquinas High on the mound and send us to the State play off in 1984. He was our shortstop with a shot gun arm. Kelvin Hill won the 1985 State champ ship has a pitcher / Hill was our SS. Attended Johnston Junior College in Kansas also played baseball with Maine College and San Diego State. Lonnie Webb also a SS won 2 games to help us move to the semi final round of the state play before losing to Berrien County in 1988 .Lonnie played shortstop for South Georgia College Douglas, G.A.
